Enjoy an exclusive Farm-to-Fork experience at the award-winning Swainstown Farm in nearby Kilmessan, located less than 1km from The Station House. A long-standing partner of the hotel, Swainstown supplies seasonal vegetables, salads, flowers, eggs, and lamb when available, all freshly harvested and delivered daily to The Station House. 

Hosted by Arthur and Larrissa Preston, this immersive experience begins with a guided two-hour tour of their beautiful chemical-free farm, where guests will discover the principles of regenerative agriculture, biodiversity, and sustainable farming practices. Guests will also have the opportunity to hand-pick seasonal produce before returning to the hotel for an interactive cookery demonstration with Head Chef Gordon Mooney, creating a truly authentic and luxurious Farm-to-Fork culinary experience.

 

Schedule: 

  • Arrive to Light lunch prior to the group activity (between 12.30pm - 2pm)
  • Wednesday workshop (afternoon group activity from 2pm - 5.30pm)
